Impact PaySystem was founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 2001. These alliances allow Impact to customize both front end and back end solutions for each customer’s unique needs. Our merchants do not have to settle for meeting half their service needs now that we can offer the full package. We streamline their payment services to fit their business needs. We have found that each business has unique payment needs requiring unique programs. At Impact’s inception, every other major player in the industry had their specialty, but they had not broadened the scope of their products to aid all business types in accepting electronic payments. Executive Summary
Dee Karawadra- President, CEO
Dee Karawadra has been in the payment industry for over a decade. His previous experience was as a direct agent with Concord EFS and First Data. After several years of working as an agent, he decided to go out on his own. In 2001 he founded Impact PaySystem and began developing a successful formula for merchants across the nation. Dee negotiates contracts with all of the top processors, taking their systems in-house to create a specialized blend of services for merchants. The approach Dee has pioneered is to negotiate contracts with major partners at such excellent rates that we are able to offer lower processing estimates to vendors than even the companies we have partnered with can provide directly. His expertise of these systems also enables Impact to customize a program for each merchant. Throughout the past five years, Dee’s strong ethics have impacted every partnership made by the company, ensuring all vendors and processors receive superior service and a strong business relationship, no matter their size or position in the business world.
Emily Karawadra- EVP Sales
Emily Karawadra joins Impact after 12 years in the industry. She was previously employed at Concord EFS in Memphis, Tennessee, where she worked in all aspects of the processing business. Emily’s expertise is providing financial institutions with solutions to their electronic payment needs, working extensively with the banking community in finding solutions for their business customers. Emily is responsible for the Impact sales initiatives on all fronts. Currently, her focus is on building strategic relationships with financial institutions, helping them to provide bank-branded electronic payment processing to their commercial customers. She is also responsible for Impact’s largest retail customers, overseeing a direct sales team to spearhead all our newest sales initiatives. With years of service in every aspect of the processing business, Emily is a well-qualified and enthusiastic liaison for our vendors, emphasizing Impact’s interest in every business we work with.
Mike Thomas- Technical Resource Director
Mike Thomas came to Impact with a wealth of knowledge that he acquired after working in the payment industry for eight years. He has also played an important role in customer relations for over 15 years, heading up a successful business relations team in the service industry on both a personal and business level. This enables him to maintain Impact’s customer efficiencies, both technically and by maintaining our relationships with customers. Mike is responsible for the technical support group which builds and deploys POS devices, as well as for the actual deployment of all POS devices to customers across the nation. His primary focus is on quality control and satisfying the customers’ needs.
Lindsay Stallings- Director of Operations
Lindsay Stallings has been with Impact for over five years. Her experience was previously concentrated in customer service. She implemented the first merchant that Impact boarded over five years ago, and has since been active on all fronts of operations. Lindsay is responsible for the underwriting, data-entry, customer service and sales support groups. Her experience in all areas ensures that our customers receive the best service in the industry. Additionally, Lindsay personally manages Impact’s major accounts, bringing a high level of individualized service to each of them.
